Original Spiced Cider Mix
Alpine Apple Pie
2 cups Krusteaz Pie Crust Mix 5 tablespoons cold water 4 cups cored, peeled and sliced apples 4 pouches Alpine Original Spiced Cider Mix 1/2 cup all-purpose flour 1/4 cup butter or margarine Preheat oven to 350ºF. In small bowl, combine Krusteaz Pie Crust Mix and water with a fork. Form dough into two balls. Flatten into rounds on lightly floured board. Roll dough into circles, 2-inches in diameter larger than inverted pie pan. Fold dough in half; then into quarters. Using one pastry, place tip of folded sheet in center of pie pan; unfold. In large bowl, toss apples with Alpine Original Spiced Cider Mix and flour. Arrange in pastry lined pan. Dot with butter. Top with remaining pastry, sealing edges and cutting vents in top crust. Bake 50-60 minutes. Serve with ice cream. Makes 6-8 servings.
